10 Dec 2013

US communications company TDS Telecom has announced the launch of new 300Mbps transmission speeds over its fibre-to-the-home (FTTH) network in parts of Tennessee, Wisconsin, New Hampshire, Georgia and Minnesota. Eligible consumers in these markets can purchase the new product as a standalone service for USD99 per month, or as part of a triple-play bundle, which also includes its fledgling IPTV product. TeleGeography notes that TDS first unveiled 100Mbps FTTH speeds in June 2013, in a handful of Tennessee and Minnesota markets.
