SingTel Mobile has announced the launch of 4G mobile data roaming in six countries in the Asia region, allowing subscribers travelling to South Korea, Philippines, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Australia and Indonesia to access Long Term Evolution (LTE) speeds for as little as SGD15 (USD12) per 24-hour period with its DataRoam Saver plans. In a statement, the city-state cellular arm of Singapore Telecom said it has struck 4G data roaming deals with SK Telecom (South Korea), Globe Telecom (Philippines), CSL (Hong Kong), Maxis (Malaysia), SingTel Optus (Australia) and Telkomsel (Indonesia). More locations are due to be added in the near future.
