Greek mobile, fixed line and broadband provider Wind Hellas has exercised a call option for a 27.04% stake, or 3.5 million shares, in rival Greek fixed line and broadband operator ForthNet, taking its total stake in the latter to 32.3%, reports Capital.gr. The move comes just ahead of ForthNet’s EUR29 million (USD39.5 million) share capital increase (with 10-24 December set as the period for shareholders to invest in new shares). Emirates International Telecommunications is ForthNet’s largest shareholder (40%).
