Kuwait-based telecoms provider Zain Group has selected Swedish vendor Ericsson to transform its billing system in Kuwait, Bahrain and Saudi Arabia. According to a press release, Ericsson will provide a complete charging, billing mediation and activation solution through a system which facilitates central management of all users and all services. Zain customers will benefit from packages and promotions tailored to their needs, a single bill for all services and real time control over their spending on mobile services. Zain Group CEO Scott Gegenheimer said: ‘With Ericsson’s charging and billing in one solution, both pre-paid and post-paid Zain customers will be able to benefit from a consolidated billing system.
