UK mobile giant EE has announced that it has extended its 4G Long Term Evolution (LTE) network to 14 new towns and cities, with the company also unveiling a range of 4G pay-as-you-go plans. New locations covered by the carrier are: Benfleet, Caerphilly, Caldicot, Canvey Island, Carlisle, Chepstow, Cwmbran, Grays, Harlow, Hatfield, Kenilworth, Rayleigh, Southport and Worksop; the operator has pledged to cover 140 towns and cities by the end of the year. According to TechWeek Europe, new pay monthly tariffs start at GBP18.99 (USD30.44), while the company is also offering pay-as-you-go plans – including handset – starting at GBP129.99
