An investigation by Mongolia’s Authority for Fair Competition and Consumer Protection has concluded that mobile market leader MobiCom overcharged its customers for its post-paid services, News.mn reports. The probe was prompted by complaints from subscribers of the wireless operator, which could now face a fine of MTN10 million (USD5,900). Meanwhile, the competition authority has launched a further investigation to determine whether the incident was a one-off, or if the company has repeatedly overcharged for its services.
