Kyrgyz fixed line incumbent Kyrgyztelecom, in which the government owns a 77.8% stake, has said it expects to post a net loss of KGS101 million (USD2.08 million) for 2013. In a statement on its website, the company stated that the expected loss is a result of the ‘recognition of uncollectable receivables at KGS130 million and devaluation of fixed assets, intangible assets and inventories at KGS154 million’. The company had previously forecast net profit of KGS183 million for the year.
