Telecom Development Company Afghanistan (TDCA), which operates under the Roshan brand name, has announced a partnership with Afghan Post that will allow customers to access mobile banking services in post offices, Cellular News writes. A six-month pilot programme will see the service made available in 19 post offices in Kabul before the project is extended to 400 post offices nationwide. Under the partnership, Roshan subscribers will be able to access a full suite of banking services. In return, Roshan will fund improvements in the 19 post offices taking part in the trial, including the installation of public call office handsets in each branch.
