French mobile operator SFR has dismissed its complaint against the comparative advertising campaign used by rival telco Bouygues Telecom, Les Echos reports. According to the article, SFR wanted to prevent Bouygues from using the number of cities covered by each of the French mobile operators’ 4G Long Term Evolution (LTE) networks in its publicity material; on the posters Bouygues Telecom claims to have coverage of over 2,000 cities/towns, compared to 286 and 500 cities/town covered by SFR and Orange France, respectively.
