In a brief announcement on its website, Bhutan Telecom (BT) reports that its subsidiary B-Mobile has extended its 3G network to the area of Damphu, the administrative headquarters and capital of Tsirang District. The network will go live on Sunday 13 October and a variety of preferential offers will be available to coincide with the launch. As such, a temporary BT retail outlet will be set up near the Moenlamthang football ground for customers to acquire 3G datacards.
