Taiwanese cable operator kbro is said to be aiming to have its network completely digitised in 2015, according to the Digitimes, ahead of a previous target date of 2016. It is understood that the cableco has currently digitised 43% of its cable TV networks, and this is expected to rise to between 53% and 54% by the end of this year, and to 75% at the end of 2014. Further, kbro has also reportedly said that it is aiming to increase the proportion of total turnover that comes from its cable broadband service from the current rate of 20% to 30% within the next two years.
