US wireless giant AT&T Mobility has announced that it plans to roll out Long Term Evolution (LTE) technology in at least 50 additional markets by the end of this year, raising its total number of 4G markets served to 420. Texas accounts for six of the new markets, with rollouts planned for Amarillo, Abilene, Longview, Marshall, San Angelo and Tyler. Other areas scheduled for connectivity include Fargo (North Dakota), Lake Charles (Louisiana) and The Big Island (Hawaii).
