Polish cableco Vectra has announced the launch of a new video-on-demand (VoD) service, providing free access to a range of movies and TV shows. Digital TV Europe writes that subscribers in Elblag will be the first to gain access to the new offering, followed by users in Olsztyn, Radom and Warsaw. In addition to the free content, Vectra will also offer content on a transactional basis, with content ranging in price from PLN6 to PLN11 (USD1.89 to USD3.47).
