Togo Telecom has unveiled new tariffs for its fixed and mobile services with prices around half of the previous levels, reports Agence Ecofin. The move is said to be in response to losing customers to voice-over-internet protocol (VoIP) services like Skype. A call to European countries and the US now costs XOF55 (USD0.11) per 45 seconds as opposed to XOF120 previously, while a call to African countries has also been revised to XOF55 but for every 30 seconds.
