Airtel launches 3G in Burkina Faso

Airtel Burkina Faso, the local mobile unit of Indian telecoms group Bharti Airtel, has announced the launch of HSPA+ technology, enabling customers to benefit from new services such as videocalling, TV and high speed internet. According to Agence Ecofin, network coverage is currently available in the cities of Ouagadougou, Bobo-Dioulasso, Koudougou, Ouahigouya, Banfora and Ziniare.
