Georgia’s largest mobile operator by subscribers, Geocell, has announced that it will no longer offer mobile TV services from 25 March 2013. The operator, which is 99.9%-owned by Fintur Holdings, itself owned by TeliaSonera of Sweden (58.55%) and Turkey’s Turkcell (41.45%), had a total of 2.074 million mobile voice subscribers at the end of December 2012, according to TeleGeography’s GlobalComms Database.
