Angolan cellco Unitel has issued a contract to Astellia to provide service troubleshooting and performance monitoring systems, with the aim of gaining a complete picture of its 2G, 3G and 4G mobile traffic from radio access network (RAN) to core network. The resultant data should help technicians to quickly identify and diagnose network issues and better target network optimisation activities.
