Orange Moldova receives temporary operating concession

5 Mar 2013

Moldova’s telecoms regulator, ANRCETI, has issued a temporary GSM licence to Orange Moldova. The 20-month concession will replace the cellco’s existing licence which expires on Thursday. The temporary extension is due to ANRCETI working on introducing a new set of technology neutral licences in the 800MHz, 900MHz and 1800MHz bands in 2014, once other concessions held by Orange and rival operator Moldcell have expired.
