Uninor signs up Alca-Lu for managed services

Norwegian-backed cellco Uninor, which will soon relaunch in the Indian wireless market as Telewings Communications, has selected French-US vendor Alcatel-Lucent to provide managed services in the Gujarat, Maharashtra and Andhra Pradesh circles. Alca-Lu will focus on improving customer experience management and operational efficiency, deploying network performance tools to boost the carrier’s networks.
