EE claims strong growth from 4G

EE, the UK’s largest mobile network operator in terms of subscribers, has registered sales growth of 10% a week since launching 4G mobile services in November 2012, Telecompaper quotes CEO Olaf Swantee as saying. Swantee noted that EE’s corporate customer base were quick to adopt the technology with more than 1,000 businesses using the service. Typical download speeds on EE’s Long Term Evolution (LTE) network are 16Mbps, with peak speeds of 50Mbps.
