27 Feb 2013

The company responsible for maintaining BT Group’s national network, BTOpenreach, has announced that following its recent successful trial of 220Mbps/20Mbps (download/upload) fibre-to-the-premises (FTTP) broadband services, it now plans to launch a ‘full pilot’ on 1 March 2013 as planned. The full trial, which will run until 31 May, will enable the new service on BT’s entire footprint where FTTP is currently enabled.
