TelBru connects 1,000 homes to FTTH

Telekom Brunei (TelBru) has completed an extension to its fibre-to-the-home network (FTTH), connecting 1,000 homes in the Madang, Gadong and central areas of the capital Bandar Seri Begawan. Telecompaper writes that the telco is planning to roll out the network to commercial areas such as Times Square and the Airport Mall. TelBru’s residential FTTH plans run from BND105 (USD83.73) per month for 5Mbps to BND465 for a 30Mbps connection whilst business offerings are available with maximum download speeds of up to 55Mbps.
