Ukraine’s dominant fixed line operator Ukrtelecom has reported that it has taken over the telephone number resources for 22,800 lines from indebted regional telco Krymtel in Simferopol, following regulatory permission given to a preliminary agreement between the two companies last month. The transfer of relevant network equipment and all other resources will be completed by 1 March, and Krymtel customers will be registered with Ukrtelecom.
