Dutch incumbent KPN Telecom (or Royal KPN) is rebranding the fibre-to-the-home (FTTH) providers it acquired last year under its Telfort brand, BroadbandTVNews reports. From March this year, the Dutch firm will move its newly absorbed FTTH providers KickXL, Lijbrandt, XMS and Concepts ICT under the Telfort umbrella, which will reportedly continue to offer media services from Glashart Media – another fibre provider that specialises in the distribution of TV and radio services over optical fibre platforms. As at 31 December 2012, KPN had a total of 368,000 FTTH households connected under its various brands.
