Comarch has announced the signing of an agreement with German cable operator Kabel Deutschland for the optimisation of network and service management processes. The Comarch Network & Service Inventory and Inventory Planning solutions will help to optimise Kabel Deutschland’s network expansion processes and operations, as well as support the growth of the operator’s network coverage and capacity, while Comarch OSS Process Management will help to improve customer experience by assuring full control over incident and problem resolution processes. ‘As we look to expand our offer and provide our customers with new services at competitive prices, we needed to significantly increase the efficiency of our business processes and speed up the rollout of network infrastructure,’ said Gerhard Mack, senior vice president of Technical Operations at Kabel Deutschland, adding: ‘We needed a partner that had experience on the German market and in the cable industry. We believe Comarch solutions will enable us to reach more subscribers with an extended and modernised network, which will also improve service quality and increase customer satisfaction.’ Kabel Deutschland is one of the largest cable network operators in Germany, supplying services to around 8.5 million connected homes in 13 federal states.
