Swedish alternative telco AllTele has agreed to purchase rival Universal Telecom. The acquisition is proposed to be made via an issuance of new shares in AllTele with a 50/50 value ratio between AllTele and Universal Telecom, valuing the acquired business at approximately SEK250 million (USD39.6 million). AllTele offers broadband, fixed telephony and pay-TV bundles as well as reselling mobile broadband and voice services. Universal Telecom, a provider of broadband internet, home telephony and resold mobile services, claims on its website that it supplies over 100,000 Swedes with telephony and broadband access.
