Ukrainian cellco Kyivstar has announced that the number of subscribers to its ‘virtual mobile brand’ Djuice, aimed at the youth market, this month exceeded eight million, an increase of around 20% in four months since reaching 6.7 million at the end of September 2012. The Djiuce customers represent approximately 30% of Kyivstar’s entire mobile network user base. The company reported earlier this month that record numbers of new customers were attracted to its network in December via recently launched economical tariff plans. Djuice was launched in 2004, and focuses on offers including competitive communications rates and mobile music.
