NTC to further reduce TDC stake

TDC has revealed in a statement that its owners have agreed to sell approximately 10% of the company’s share capital. NTC Holding – a consortium of Investment Apax Partners, the Blackstone Group, Kohlberg Kravis Roberts, Permira Advisers and Providence Equity Partners will sell 80 million shares in TDC, with order books on the sale expected to close today. According to TeleGeography’s GlobalComms Database, NTC Holding acquired 89% of the Danish telco in 2005, and has sold down its stake gradually over the subsequent years. Following the last sale in November 2012 NTC Holding’s ownership in TDC had fallen to 25.9%.
