Bulgarian cellco Mobiltel (M-Tel) has announced the expansion of its 3.5G Dual Carrier (DC)-HSPA+ network to 53 cities and resorts. The advanced network offers theoretical download speeds of up to 42Mbps, while the rest of its network supports transmission speeds of up to 21Mbps across the country. According to TeleGeography’s GlobalComms Database, M-Tel launched services over its DC-HSPA+ infrastructure in March 2011. The operator ended 2012 with a subscriber market share of approximately 44%.
