T-Mobile Czech Republic has extended its Dual Carrier (DC) HSPA+ coverage to a number of locations across the country, boosting maximum download speeds to 42Mbps in the areas covered. The cellco reportedly added the areas of Beroun and Podebrady at the end of last year, before deploying DC-HSPA+ in Nymburk, Jihlava, Trutnov and Vrchlabi last month. T-Mobile is not stopping there, however, and has already earmarked upgrading its networks in Nove Mesto na Morave, it said. The carrier’s DC-HSPA+ network is also available in Prague, Brno, Liberec, Ceske Budejovice, Mlada Boleslav, Zlin and Otrokovice, while the basic HSPA+ network (i.e. maximum 21Mbps speeds), now covers 85% of the population.
