JT’s fibre service sees slow initial take-up

JT Jersey (formerly Jersey Telecom) has passed more than half of Jersey’s homes with its fibre network, according to a report by ThinkBroadband.com. The company’s fibre infrastructure is said to have passed 26,115 homes, but take-up is reportedly slow, with just 1,737 homes connected as of 31 December 2012, below original expectations of 3,505.
