Volia, Ukraine’s largest cable network operator, is aiming for full-year revenues of UAH1 billion (USD121 million) in 2013 based on its recent annual average sales growth of 2%-3%, according to its chairman Pierre Danon, who also indicated that EBITDA stood at around USD48.5 million in 2012. His figures implied that the cableco earned revenues of roughly USD117 million last year. According to Danon’s own estimates, cited in a report by the Korrespondent newspaper, in cities covered by its HFC cable network Volia has an average of around 20% broadband internet market share, while its pay-TV market share increased by four percentage points to around 59% in 2012, he claimed.
