UK retailer Phones 4u has announced that it will launch mobile virtual network operator (MVNO) services in March 2013. The company has revealed that it will offer its mobile services under the ‘LIFE Mobile’ banner, and has confirmed that it will operate over the network of the country’s largest network operator by subscribers, EE. Looking ahead, Phones 4u has also said that it is aiming to add LTE-based services to its range of options, though it noted that this would be ‘later in 2013’. The company will offer a wide range of tariffs and services that include data packages as standard. Customers looking to sign up to the service will be able to do so in the company’s retail outlets, including its concessions in Currys and PC World, while connections will also be offered online.
