MTEL drops roaming charges in Serbia

17 Jan 2013

Montenegrin full service provider MTEL has announced that it has eliminated roaming charges for its customers travelling in Serbia. The telco, which is part owned by Telekom Srbija, will no longer levy fees on incoming calls, whilst outgoing calls and data usage will be charged at the same rate as in Montenegro. MTEL stipulates that the elimination of roaming charges is only applicable to users that select Mobile Telephony of Serbia (MTS, the wireless arm of Telekom Srbija) as their carrier whilst in Serbia.
