Vodafone Qatar has announced reaching one million mobile users, since launching full commercial services just under three and a half years ago in July 2009. Commenting on the milestone, Vodafone Qatar’s CEO Richard Daly said: ‘We are very proud that in just three years of operations over one million customers have chosen to become Vodafone customers. To have 55% of the population using our services is a great achievement.’ Growth in 2012 was helped by Vodafone’s relaunch of post-paid packages and a focus on new mobile data offerings.
