Tower operator Solusi Tunas Pratama acquires 300 towers from HCPT

Indonesian mobile network operator Hutchison CP Telecommunications (Hutchison Telecom Indonesia, or HCPT), which offers services under the banner 3 Indonesia, has sold 300 mobile towers locally owned tower network operator PT Solusi Tunas Pratama. Although no financial details were disclosed, previous reports suggested that Solusi Tunas Pratama was looking to raise USD68 million from its stockholders to fund the acquisition. The group was created in 2006 as a dedicated tower operator and currently claims to own 2,000 towers across the country.
