Numericable records 40% broadband subscriber growth

Silicon.fr reports that Numericable’s LaBox service saw sales of 120,000 boxes between its launch in June 2012 and the end of the year. The service, which allows customers to connect to the internet at speeds of up to 200Mbps, helped Numericable grow its broadband subscriber base by 40% year-on-year. At the end of the third quarter, Numericable said it had 960,000 broadband subscribers, of which 650,000 had connections of more than 30Mbps, and of those 585,000 had speeds of 100Mbps or higher.
