Mason confirms Telus stake cut to 3.4%

US hedge fund Mason Capital has confirmed previous reports that it has sharply reduced its ownership stake in Canadian quadruple-play telco Telus, revealing in a mandatory disclosure document to regulators that its common (voting) shareholding has fallen to 5.9 million shares, or around 3.4% of common shares, down from about 19% previously, reports The Globe & Mail.
