Orange Business Services, part of the France Telecom-Orange group, has formed a joint venture company in Qatar aimed at addressing the ICT market opportunities in the Middle Eastern country, reports Trade Arabia. The new Qatari company, registered as EGN LLC, is a partnership with Sheikh Fahad Bin Ghanim Al Thani, who is the majority shareholder with a 51% stake. EGN will focus on business sectors including oil/gas, government sector projects, telecom company systems integrators, new cities and large infrastructure projects.
