Albright Capital Management has reportedly withdrawn from a tender to privatise Post and Telecommunication Kosovo (PTK) after deciding that the investment would not be lucrative, news portal b92.com writes, citing local daily Zeri. However, neither Albright nor the Kosovo Ministry of Economic Development, the government body handling the sale, have yet confirmed the move, though the ministry noted that bidders are entitled to withdraw before 15 January, when final offers are expected. Albright Capital Management had previously been pegged as the frontrunner for the 75% stake in PTK, ahead of rival bidders British Telecom Poland (in partnership with Columbia Capital and ACP Axos Capital), M1 International Limited, and Avicena Capital (in partnership with Sofrecom).
