Following Greek incumbent OTE’s launch of commercial retail and wholesale VDSL high speed (50Mbps) broadband services this week, two of Greece’s alternative local loop unbundled (LLU) broadband network operators, ForthNet and Wind Hellas, have announced their own VDSL-based packages. As reported by Telecompaper, both altnets are offering speeds of up to 50Mbps and are each charging users an additional EUR10 (USD13) to add VDSL services to existing ADSL2+ packages.
