AEC: Macedonia’s IPTV user base up 51% y-o-y; DVB-T on the wane

According to online portal seenews.com, the total number of IPTV subscribers in Macedonia climbed 51.36% year-on-year to 51,166 at 30 June 2012. However in its latest market report, the Agency for Electronic Communications (AEC) also noted that the popularity of Digital Video Broadcasting-Terrestrial (DVB-T) services is in decline, with the number of users falling 18.62% over the same period to 38,360.
