Indian cellco Aircel is halting its plans to launch Time Division Long Term Evolution (TD-LTE) services this year, reports Telecom Lead. The cellco’s 4G platform has been put on hold until 2013, though may not launch until the start of the next fiscal year, from 1 April 2013. Upcoming changes in the industry and regulatory uncertainty are believed to be the main reasons for the change of direction.
