GBI’s Egypt-Milan route fully 100G enabled

Middle Eastern carrier’s carrier Gulf Bridge International (GBI) has deployed full 100Gbps connectivity between its cable landing station in Zararana, Egypt and its PoP in Milan, Italy, based on an implementation from Xtera Communications. GBI is delivering 100G transit on both submarine and terrestrial sections of the 5,000km route.
