The Kuwait-based Zain Group has unveiled plans to establish a new regional data network in the Middle East and North Africa. According to a report from AME Info, the firm will set up a new subsidiary – Zain Group Wholesale – to offer wholesale voice and data services. Zain Group deputy CEO and COO, Hisham Akbar, commented: ‘Zain Group Wholesale allows us to leverage our existing competencies and assets while at the same time giving our customer base access to additional voice and data services.’
