California-based telecoms firm Craig Wireless Systems has announced that it has increased its interest in Woosh Wireless Holdings Limited, the parent company of New Zealand broadband provider Woosh Wireless, from 51% to 75% after acquiring additional equity held as treasury stock. As previously reported by CommsUpdate, Craig Wireless Systems agreed to buy Woosh Wireless in September 2011 for a total consideration of USD5.5 million, which included the latter’s pre-existing debt.
