T-Mobile inks five-year outsourcing contract with Huawei

T-Mobile Czech Republic and China’s Huawei Technologies have announced the signing of an outsourcing contract for the construction and maintenance of the operator’s mobile networks. Under the first phase of the five-year contract, the transfer of these activities, as well as around 100 employees, under Huawei’s administration is expected to be completed by the end of the year. Commenting on the agreement, Frank Meywerk, director of T-Mobile’s technology department, said: ‘The quality of the network always has been and always will be for us in first place. I am confident that together with our partner, we will continue to offer customers the highest quality in the Czech Republic.’
