Vodafone’s Czech mobile subsidiary has selected Astellia, a leading provider of monitoring solutions for the optimisation of mobile network quality of service (QoS) and quality of experience (QoE), as its primary partner for testing and optimising its infrastructure under a three-year project. Under the agreement, Astellia will help to ensure that Vodafone can implement a speedy upgrade of more than 40 base station controllers (BSC) in its 2G network, reduce CAPEX and OPEX, and deliver an enhanced service quality to end users.
