Columbus International, which offers triple-play services in the Caribbean region under the Flow brand, has received formal approval to enter the Barbados telecoms market, via its acquisition of TeleBarbados and all requisite licences to provide wholesale and retail broadband-based services for businesses and consumers. The acquisition was agreed in June, and Columbus plans a USD80 million investment over the next three years in Barbados.
