The French telco SFR has expanded its relationship with US-based operator Verizon Communications to create a business telecoms alliance under the name Network Team. Besides SFR and Verizon, the entity will also include Vodafone, Etisalat, Maroc Telecom and Tata Communications. SFR’s Business Team unit says the alliance will improve its international communications offerings for French businesses and multinationals. As reported by CommsUpdate in June this year, SFR and Verizon previously teamed up to target US corporations with operations in France.
